well I haven't been following Halo 4 and the leaks, why have they announced that they are both going to be in it?

I haven't really been following the news on Halo 4, but they're going to have both BR and DMR or would it just be a gun setting to do three burst or single shot?

BR is likely a 3 round burst, and the DMR is semi-automatic
