Question about Halo 4 E3 trailer

I'm not a big Halo fan, never beat any of the campaigns but I'm curious to know what the fans think of the trailer.

So they showed that blue woman, is she like a hologram or something? Well she has always been MC's companion right? But in that trailer she looked pretty mad, was she talking to MC? Is she mad at MC or something? Was she talking to him when she was saying something like you're never leaving this place?

Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I got out of the trailer, she turned bad. If that's true, what do you guys think about it? Cool? Disappointed that she turned evil? Indifferent?

4 will make no sense if you haven't at least beaten 3. It also seems like it will play off the forerunner novels a bit, so there's that.

It's been hinted at for quite some time she was going crazy. Now... She has.

I'm not sure how many writers jumped ship and went to 343, but I imagine it'd be roughly the same. The series was always leading to this point; facing Cortana's rampancy. Overall, you have to remember, it was Bungie that stuck Requiem in the H3 Legendary ending. So that plot point, at least, would've been the same had Bungie been in charge.

Yeah, 343 is kinda a mix of people from several game companies, but there's a lot from Bungie. And I dunno, I know Bungie has washed their hands of it but people from there could, unofficially, be talking with and working with people from 343, even if all it was was a friendly meeting. Like I write this story, then I decide to give it to my friend to work on instead, but I'd still be seeing what they were doing, where they were taking the story, etc. and throwing in my two cents as well. That probably makes no sense but I am too tired right now to care. >_>

The story has always been leading up to it. All AI's in teh Halo universe become 'rampant' after 7 years of being active. (She's been active for 8)
