Something I don't get with Pioneer armor mod.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

So from what I under stand Specializations unlock at the "Max base rank" of 50.

"Halo 4 has fifty levels. Once you have advanced through the standard fifty levels, you will get the option to enlist in a Specialization."

Each Specialization had 10 levels.

"Specializations allow you to enlist in specific rank paths. These paths are composed of ten levels each."

You can only be going down one unlock Specialization at a time, and can only choose another once the current one is complete.

"once you select one, you must advance through it completely before enlisting in a separate Specialization."

So what I'd like to know will the Pioneer armor mod be available to other Specializations after completing the Pioneer Specialization? If not what is the damn point? A exp boost for 10 levels out of the total 130? Seems like a waste, hope they shine some light on this a bit more.

I've been assuming there's a normal bonus for the specialization, and then when you get to level 10 for it, you get the armor and an addition to the specialization. So if you had Pioneer on, you'll get the extra XP at level 1, but you get it's additional upgrades at level 10.

From what I understand, the armor mods are independant from specializations. So lets say you get Pioneer to 10 and get the exp mod, then you can level another class while keeping the exp mod on.

I sure hope so.

"These armor mods will work exactly like all other tactical and support mods in the game. They are not tied to specific armor for each Specialization, so you donít have to wear the armor to use that particular mod."

As we know theres a tactical/support section, it's most likely an unlocked specialisation goes to one of the two categories. You'd have to sacrifice say, the quicker shield regen, picking up grenades, radar when zoomed, sprinting longer etc in order to have it.

Take pioneer for 50-60, equip the fast track armour mod, and then do your 60-70 quicker from more xp.

Wait for the level cap to increase, keep it equipped and do two more specialisations (seems the logical release rate...) for a quicker than average 70-90.

And Halo suddenly became ten times more complicated.

In theory, the limited edition users won't have entirely too much advantage. They've stated they'l increase the level cap along releasing new specialisations for the community. This would make 70 the cap regardless of version you bought. So a LE user would pick two specialisations, then have to wait for the cap to be lifted before they could pick from the other 6.

Edit: for UK players, GAME are giving out the armour specialisation packs for all pre-orders, not just limited edition users. Changed my order to them today.

I agree, I just made pretty much the same argument on another topic. But I gotta clarify this..... A store in UK is giving all the specializations that come wiith the limited edition to anyone who preorders even the regular copy? Please tell me theres a chance this could happen in the United States. :(

That is indeed the case, but I've got no idea if the US can get the bonus too.

Go to the bonus offer tab for confirmation :)
