Halo 4

Well that's pretty convenient. Gonna have to buy some 16 gig stick and dedicate it to Halo 4 MP content though still.

Nice. I'm glad they didn't take the BF3 route where one disk was multiplayer and one disk was campaign.

This makes much more sense. Similar to what Forza 4 did.

So, do you need to just install the second disk much like you would have to install any other game, or do you need to run the disk and install it from an in-game menu?

Either way i'm set, since I have all night (getting it at midnight launch at my local EB games).

If it's what i'm thinking of (similar to how Mass Effect 3 worked, if one wanted to play only multiplayer) players can essentially give the second disk away after installing it so that they could play with a friend (Mass Effect 3 had multiplayer on both disks).

I don't think so. The 2nd disc is probably just an installation disc. (similar to GOTY editions with their DLC discs)

Your friend would still need to 1st disc to play.

You will still need a disk to play. It's no different than copying a disk to your HDDbut still needing the disk to run the game faster.
