would you take $2,000 in cash if it meant you could never be able to play H4?

$2,000 easily.

If you're really on such a tight budget, why are you dropping $60 for Halo?

Not trying to imply anything here, but it appears that your financial situation is due to poor money management. Those of us who budget wisely (barring unforeseen complications) aren't in such dire need of a relatively small amount of money.

I'm not on a tight budget. I said I handle my monthly bills alright because I manage my money pretty decently and hold back on impulse buys as much as I would love to treat myself but $2000 is an amount that I can't just shrug off like it's nothing. Receiving $2000 as opposed to spending $60 is a no brainer. But considering nobody is going to hand me $2000 I'm still going to go ahead and get Halo in a few weeks, once I find a gas station here on LI that doesn't have a 4 hour wait for gas

Well you present your choice in a way that we should all agree without argument. Some us would prefer halo over the money. Why does that anger you so much?

Of course, I'll take the $2000 over Halo 4 any day. Lol at people choosing Halo

In the beginning, there was nothing. Then God said, "Let there be light". And there was still nothing but you could see it.

Heck yes I'd take the $2000. If anything, I'd be able to get so many more games.
Plus, I don't have a 360 so what the heck do I care about Halo? ;D

Saw this in popular board topics, and I just popped in to say the $2000. I've never played a single Halo game, anyway.

Ill take the 2k just because I'm not a huge Halo plan. If it was something like 2k or Final Fantasy Versus XIII (lol, as if that is ever coming out), I will go with the game and not take the 2k.

Wasn't going to get it anyway, so give me the money.

Saw this topic on the front page before anyone has a crap attack about "why am I posting on a board for a game I don't like blah blah blah"

Oh! Almost forgot to make fun of Halo wit hall it's ridiculous Dorito and Mountain Dew tie ins. Haha, that stuff is so absurd it's almost funny! (it's not though, it's just really sad).
