would you take $2,000 in cash if it meant you could never be able to play H4?

Considering I don't even have an Xbox 360 (saw this topic on the home page) and I don't even like Halo, yes I would. I wouldn't miss anything.

$2000 without question. Halo 4 cannot beat the option of getting 33 other games or 15+DLC or anything else $2000 could buy you.

I don't pay too much attention to Halo. It took me 2 years to get around to playing Reach. $2000 would pay back my debt to parents and enough for a game. If I really needed to experience Halo 4 there's always youtube. I'd take the cash for sure.

I'd take the $2k.

I really love the Halo games and the Halo universe. I have incorporated '117' in anything I could. I've spent money on avatar items that were Halo based. I even love Halo Wars and Halo 3: ODST. I was planning to read the books. One reason I kept Dead or Alive 4 so long was because I could play a Master Chief looking character in it. I've had dreams of Warhammer 40,000 armies that were influenced by elements in Halo (Spartan armor, a 'Master Chief' color scheme, UNSC, The Covenant, etc.). I was even going to name my first child John if it was a boy or Cortana if it was a girl. (Just kidding on the last bit there).

...but in the end I can live with the Halo timeline ending at part 3. To tell you the truth I was kind of upset when I heard Master Chief was coming back... I thought him going back into stasis was a cool way to end things. I was hoping for more stuff like ODST, Halo Wars, and Reach... more backstory/sidestory type stuff.

$2k can buy me a lot of Halo themed stuff (toys/models, art pieces, pornography, hookers, midgets... you know... stuff.)

no way, 2k is less than pocket change in the big picture of life. Most gamers from the 80's and 90's work and have families now like me so 2k to me is nothing. My dog had to stay at the vet for a week last year because he got parvo and the vet bill was 2k lol.

And Halo 4 is less than a pit stop. Halo 5+ will be just around the corner.
