Supposedly it out performed the Avengers, and Harry Potter this year. Which is impressive since those movies are open to a more wider audience.

Wait until Blops 2 gets released tonight. $500 million in a day easy, just like the last 6 of them.

Common sense since A) Ever since CoD4 it outsold Halo B) Multiplatform.

So it's only common sense that it would have a better chance to.

I wonder if they'll pull what they did last time.

Announce the next Call of Duty within the hour of the last one's release.

It's like they KNOW people are gonna buy it simply to buy it.
(And then bundle it with an Elite service other companies like Bungie and DICE did for free)

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Dice say they would never do a subscription service like Elite?(I tried googling it, but all I found was recent articles.)

If yes, then wouldn't that make them Hypocrites?

Dice said they would never charge for map packs. Luckily they add in some weapons and a few vehicles so it's not a map pack but an expansion when they release it.

All right. So they're on the grey area of keeping their word. Which is good for DICE.(I love BF3 by the way) I just thought they where hypocrites for a while. Glad you cleared this up for me.

Comparing movies to videogame is unfair.

A game is 6x the price of a movie ticket.
