Cryo sleep makes his physical age much lower than his actual age.

He'd still be biologically late 30's early 40's. But this is the future, and he is a bio-enhanced supersoldier. Like Captain America! IN SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!

Dude, Snake is old as hell but still kicks ass.

Chief is still in his prime.
Have you ever had a turkeyburger? Is that a fried turkey leg wrapped inside a burger? Because if so, then yes. Delicious.

Cyro sleep slows the bodies aging down significantly.
I'm a Christian. I play Diablo 3 and one of my favorite video game characters is the Lich King from Warcraft. Deal with it.

His actual age at the time halo 4 takes place is roughly 44. And yes, that's not including his total time in cryo, it makes a big difference, just look at Cole.

Regardless of cryo, his augmentations still leave him in peak physical condition as if he were still in his late 20's/early 30's.
