Halo 4

So I got the limited edition copy of the game, and used the code for the map packs. Do I just input the code, download the pack and voila - the maps are now available to select in my game? Because I read from one source that you have to download them from the Waypoint, and from another source that you download them over Xbox Live Marketplace. Im so confused, just because im not sure which of my current maps are "default" and if any of them are from the bonus content. What are the names of the maps you get anyway? Just so I know for sure if I have them or not.

Yes, it's no different than getting the Mechromancer as a preorder, we couldn't unlock her until she was released for sale, then we got her for free. I assume it's the same this time around, you simply won't have to pay for the maps once they are released.
