I love regicide. Been playing it alot. I got the kingslayer challenge and the 10reg in one game challenge. The 18 one is damn near impossible. I find a lot of people arent playing the game right. Most just treat it as FFA. That is wrong. Regicides are worth way more then kills. I shoot for the king like a madman. Ill run right through firefights without fireing a shot just to get to the king. ONLY kill the king.
How many deaths do you usually get? That seems like a better strategy - lower kills and deaths, but I'm sure it does wonders for the K/D spread since everyone is busy killing each other.

Tired of the Regicide challenges.

My guess about the challenges is that the number of x's to do is randomized, as well as which challenge is picked, with each challenge having a number associated with it.
Let's say "regicides in a single match" is number 7. The challenge randomizer picks a random number when the challenges reset. It picks "7", so "regicides in a single match" is the challenge. Now it randomizes the number as well, but with constraints so it's higher then 1 and less then 20. It picks 18. So there's the new challenge. Now, when the time to pick the next challenge comes, "7" is removed from the list of numbers that can be drawn, but it's added back in when the time to pick the 3rd challenge comes, which is how we got the same challenge twice this week.

It depends on the map. I'll get around 10 deaths on haven or solace, but only around 6 on complex. Bigger the map the easier it is to avoid players when ur king. Its simple really. Player with most regicides wins. Don't kill anyone as king. You do not want to be king. It works wonders. I've came in second maybe once.

People must not get that it goes by score not kills or time as king. I won a match that I spent 8 seconds as king. The longer you play as king the more your bonus goes up. The bigger the bonus the more points revived for killing you. Couple that with everyone killing the s*** out of each other and it's easy to see how you can lose or how you think it sucks.
I would love to see some non Regicide challenges however. Maybe some more KotH, Oddball, Swat, or the escort game type. I personally hate flood. Flood with guns, Spartans marked as enemies, also the shotgun is worthless in this game.

I think they're trying to encourage people to play something other than slayer or something. Or maybe that's their favorite game type and think everyone else should love it too.

This. Not sure why some people are having issues understanding this.
Anyway, the weekly ends tomorrow, so hopefully next week's challenge won't be so bad.
Yes but GT accurately portrays a driving experience as does BF a real battlefield. -seh6183
