Is anyone else getting ridiculous rubberband lag?

It partially is.

Lag is two parts your connection, two parts another person's connection, and one part the server's.

So getting better internet would in fact help your problem. If you are unwilling to consider that option, then fault lies with you even further for having the means to improve your situation but not taking the action.


I think 1.8 megs up and 9.5 megs down should be enough for an online game.

It's so bad that I can't even get into vehicles. I stood in front of one pressing x for at least 5 seconds and then it just decides to teleport to some random location on the map.
