Is it certain that the Master Chief was holding the nuke or could it have possibly been a remote for it? I remember the scientist saying that the nuke would be prepared for remote detonation. I'm still on my second playthrough so I may get these questions answered while I continue, but if it was indeed a remote then it would clear up some confusion about Chief detonating a nuke in his hands and living.
He has a shield on his armor that covers his hands also... She could of just turned that shield into a hardlight overshield... That was the only thing I thought of that didnt make my brain hurt lol --- xbl GT:thatman 6sic6 psn id:thatman_6sic6
he defeinitely was sacrificing himself but Cortana super shielded him
Shielded him from an explosion that happened in his goddamn hands.

Ah well, still not as bad as ME3's ending.
What is? I can overlook this one glaring head-scratcher because the rest of the ending was pretty tippy top. --- I can wire anything directly into anything! I'm the Professor! - The Professor GT: xCOLBY JACKx
I have no idea what movie your referencing, but whatever it is you should stop referencing it. It sounds like a terrible movie that ruined the childhood of millions of people and destroyed a franchise.
