A few of my friends keep saying that your armor abilities get stronger as you rank up, is this true or are they just lying?

Maybe he meant you get better ones that you buy with more SP and you only get SP from leveling up, if so then yeah. If he meant they improve as you level up then no he's wrong

The only thing that changes them in any way is the AA enhancement perk, though I think that only lets them recharge faster. Really, people are just getting better at using them and making them seem like some people have leveled up versions.

The Specializations you unlock at level 50 give boosts to some skills. For example, wetwork unlocks the tactical ability stealth, which makes you move quietly and assassinate quicker, and you show up as a siloutte instead of a red blob on promethean vision.

They're saying that it actually does cause they're saying they go further with thrust and that the turret gets stronger when you rank up
