Summary:

Pros:
• Awesome graphics
• Interesting story
• Still fun multiplayer
• Smart A.I.

Cons:
• Campaign is too short
• Reused Spartan Ops maps
• Ordinance system is a hit or miss

Summary of summary: Halo 4 is Halo.

Overall: 4/5

I like it. Only con that irks me is the Vehicles feel way too..squishy in this game.

Small thing that bugs me to no end is that 343 removed ONE beep from the countdown. My ears feel like they're going to bleed. But I'm getting used to it.

There's times where I enjoy it, but this is the first Halo where I'm already getting worn out on and I haven't even been playing that much.

I'd say 4.75. There are some nuisances with the menus and match making and the maps still aren't that great. Pretty much the same few maps in rotation that everyone keeps voting on, Plus I think it's stupid that they are keeping a level cap in place. I can't recall any other FPS that puts a restriction on ranking up and gradually releasing feature so the game doesn't get stale.

Otherwise its a great game and i really enjoy all the changes they've made.

Its better than Reach but not as good as 1/2/3 IMO. Doesn't even feel like a Halo game. Campaign was too short and the worst yet. Multiplayer is way too random and luck based to be played seriously/competitively. Despite that, I don't think its a terrible or bad game, just kinda average.

You can't win everybody I guess. When I play Halo 4, it feels very much like Halo to me.

Anyways, here are a couple of complaints I have. I wish there was more variety of maps, and what makes it worst, is the community that keeps voting the same maps. I also wish there was more variety of human weapons to choose from. Why couldn't we get the SMG's? Dominion would be great if it was Big Teams. Ordnance Drops happen too often, and I think your points towards them should reset after you die. Besides that, I love the game. I'd give it a 4/5.

I'd probably go 4.5/5.

It still plays like Halo, and it's MUCH better in all aspects than Reach (I even prefer SOPS to firefight though I imagine I'm in a minority there).

The reason I can't score it higher:
-At its core, it's not a competitive game on the same level of H2/H3, even if I think it's as fun.

-No ranked/social list distinction means you group all the tryhards and goof offs into one place. It was a bad move in Reach and it's a bad move here.

Thought the campaign was on par with the original trilogy
