/sigh
Yeah, I know we can play other games and stuff while we wait, but honestly it happens almost every day and has shown no signs of improvement. Hell I'd say the downtime is getting longer. It's getting pretty old to have their support for their own game be so terribad...

it says that for me too, and it also has me at level one.

I can still play the basic playlists but nothing else.

Has there been an official word?

Worst part? Its not down for everyone. my friends are waiting for me and can play just fine. I've restarted, cleared cache, etc. Nothing.

Yeah, they have everyone take turns at being on the "default playlist" on the backup server to reduce server load or something.

I'm having the same problem and I've got 3 matches of double XP I redeemed waiting for me. It seems like it goes down for a while every 3 or 4 days.

if this was true (source pls) I would be fine with that if I could keep my levels and loadouts.

Last time I couldn't access the main server, I did still have all my stuff. Only difference being that stats would not update. I don't have a definitive source. I'm just basing this off how everyone has problems in groups but at different times.

Seriously? That is some DICE/EA crap if that's what they're doing. That is absolutely shabby in every way possible. They didn't expect the game to be popular? They didn't think to test if their servers were stable? Good god they didn't deserve what bungie gave them if they treat their community like this.

I am more upset that this was not communicated up front. Not that it is what it is, cause I don't have a problem with that.
