Why this game is failing with 343

You know, I would like everyone to THINK FOR ONE SECOND. If this game didn't have the Halo label, would you even pick it up?

Personally, I don't think I would.

Story was far too short, A lot of the weapons are unbalanced and it makes for annoying multiplayer, Spartan Ops is great but the missions eem slightly short, not a major concern though.
I really dont like where they went with the story. Since close to the beginning, bungie said the forerunners were gone and that humans were discovering what was left. Now all of a sudden theres just magically a forerunner planet with a living forerunner still on it.
Thats like hitting Bungie in the face with your man-member.

Terrible argument. It DOES have the Halo label.

Fun fact: there was just as much complaining made by the community during Halo CE and Halo 2, it was just about different things.

Ab-so-lutely.

No **** sherlock.

I'm saying, if it wasn't a Halo game would anyone even be defending or playing it? If this game was coming out, but wasn't called Halo and wasn't affiliated at all I probably wouldn't even pick it up.

Halo 4 is better than Reach, but that's not saying much imo.

I dislike a few of the changes, and 343i also removed some things that did not need to be removed imo.

As for the people saying TC wants Halo to remain the same, what is new about Halo 4 exactly?
Armor Abilities, bloom, the DMR, loadouts, sprint, etc. were in Reach.
And while armor mods, weapons/emblems unlockables, ordnance drops, etc. is new to Halo, how many other games already have those things? How many of those games were released this gen?
Sure, some of the weapons and enemies are new, but they feel similar to things that we have seen before in the series. (Especially the new weapons.)

But besides that, here are some of my complaints about Halo 4:

The maps could be better.
New characters are boring or annoying.
There is some bad dialogue.
Chief and Cortana's relationship was awkward at times.
Repetitive objectives. (Press button, kill enemies, press another button, kill more enemies, etc.)
Forge is just a slightly updated version of Reach's Forge.
Some unbalanced weapons and armor mods.
Spartan Ops lacks the challenge and replayability of Firefight. Reusing maps is also a bad thing.
A anti-climatic boss fight.
etc.

Those are just some minor complaints. My biggest complaint is that due to some of these changes, Halo 4 lost some core Halo gameplay imo.
In past Halo games, everyone spawned with the same weapons, there were no armor mods, normal weapons spawned on the map, weapons always spawned in the same spot, etc.
A lot of that is gone in Halo 4.

However, everyone has a different opinion.

-Yes the maps could be better.
-Who the **** cares about the new characters in campaign? And this is subjective anyway.
-Once again, subjective. And everything about your post makes me think you don't know a thing about "good dialogue".
-Wow, more subjective opinion about the campaign in a topic centered around multiplayer.
-Any game can be reduced to a basic formula like that. Once again another campaign complaint. CASUAL GAMER ALERT.
-Forge is vastly superior, if you spent more than 2 minutes on it/had half a brain you would know this.
-The only weapons that could even be considered remotely "unbalanced" are the DMR and Boltshot, but even then a good player can easily do well without either of these/against these. Also all the armor abilities are balanced, only bad players would disagree.
-Firefight and Spartan Ops are both mediocre diversions, who really cares?
-Boss fight? Really? That's the strong point you choose to go out on? ANOTHER campaign complaint. Also, do you even know what anti-climactic means? I suggest you look it up because if you truly think the "boss fight" (which it isn't) is anti-climactic you know nothing about story-telling.

They took you Night Man and you don't belong to them. They left me in a world of darkness without your sexy hands and I miss you, Night Man... so bad.

I was still let down......

Sigh. Another one of these posts. The game is fine. We just need the old game modes and new maps to add more variance.
