Does MM balance teams based on the best players?

So, here's a question.

Does matchmaking balances teams based on the best player of each team? So, for example, If a player has 3 K/D, the other players in his team will be less than adequate?

I'm asking because I see people in my team that are not familiar with the game, while the other team (not a party, mind you) are much better than my team mates. Having 20+ kills in a match, but still losing is not so much fun :/

Would the opposite situation be better? It matches based on worst player?

That way you'd have a level 110 against level 10's? That wouldn't be fair at all.

I don't complain. I'm just asking if anyone knows, or if they have experienced something similar.

I'm not a game making company, I don't know how balancing should work, I'm just asking a question.

If you have a 3.0 K/D it means you have 3 times more kills than deaths. It means you kill more than die. It means you help your team, while not giving points to the opposite team.

I don't see how that is not a skill.

Going by what you say I guess BTB players are a lot better than established MLG pros.
