I'd be fine with them as primary weapons if 343 reduced their clip size (maybe 2 shot clip for Shotgun and 4 shot clip for scattershot).

as previously stated, Boltshot.

gears of war was basically a mess because of a OHK starting weapon. halo has never had one in the past and now we have the boltshot.

please. no. i dont need another game completely ruined by matchbox car gameplay. at least in halo people have the decency to shoot at you from more than 3 inches away on occasion.

no Shotgun, no Scattershot. no OHK weapons of any kind in starting loadout please.

you want those? play customs, or Flood.

As much as I love using the shotgun and saying "you just got sarged!" it should not be a load out weapon.

I don't at all see this turning into a gears of war style shotgun fest. Both weapons would be useless in btb and they're out classed at range in regular slayer. The only time I see it being too much of an advantage is in CTF.
