Reach had gorgeous maps, and armor lock was easily circumvented.
By what, standing around just waiting for him to pop back out? Whether it was easy to kill them or not, it was stupid and boring and killed a lot of gameplay. "Okay...whens he gonna pop out of it....ummm, maybe in 3 seconds? Okay just wait I guess...." It was just very dumb and killed flow.
And yeah maps are very subjective but I hated pretty much all of them, and by the end the game was so filled with forge maps that, even though some were decent, all looked the same and couldn't be told apart during the voting screen. Very stupid. --- And this stillness of life did not in the least resemble a peace. It was the stillness of an implacable force brooding over an inscrutable intention.
