Should I switch from thruster pack to hard light shield?

hardlight shield is decent

it's mainly personal preference and it also depends on the map.

Depends on the game mode for me. I normally prefer thruster pack, but I would consider using a hardlight shield in certain game modes that require defense or time stalling, or if I'm expecting boltshot campers.

i thought thruster pack was useless after i discovered the jetpack... and then i watched one of Ninja's videos on youtube.

i never thought of some of the ways he uses it. watch some of his vids and THEN decide.

Hardlight Shield is the Armor Lock of Halo 4.

Bad players use it because they think it will get them out of trouble. One grenade placed behind a hardlight shield fixes that whole problem.

It takes MUCH more skill to use the Thrusters correctly to your advantage.

Bad player isn't really a subjective term, if you suck at the game, people will call you bad. If you think holding down a button to absorb bullets so you can get away because you had bad positioning doesn't make you bad, keep using it then. This is coming from someone who doesn't like starting with AA's at all though so you can always take what I say with a grain of salt.

I have to side with the thruster pack on this one. I haven't seen much successful use of the HLS.

You think there is no such thing as a bad player?

So someone with a KD of .45, winning 20% of their games, true skill around 10 and hardly any assists isn't a bad player?

Yeah, ok. You're going to have a rough time on this board.

Kay dude, I'm not the one who struggles with the concept of subjectivity and objectivity.
