Take away all the bullet magnetism on it, for instance.
This is a horrible idea. The DMR is not much better than the BR, so making it significantly more difficult to use will mean people switch to the BR and not bother with the DMR because it's much more difficult to use for an almost negligible increase in power.

if anyone would like to complain about a different weapon with me...
the concussion Rifle... THAT sob needs a buff. everyone's always talking about the DMR or the boltshot, but the concussion rifle? noo, of course not. not only does it never get used, the only time people talk about it is to say that it's crap.
it's sad and alone and just wants somebody to love it. --- -Every fanboy needs a troll to keep him disillusioned. sonofkorol is my new favorite.12/3/12

Well, I'm more talking about Slayer, since that's the "purest" that Halo is: just killing in teams. Yes, all the guns are useful in some situations. But on average, with the least amount of practice, planning or preparation, DMR is the best choice. Someone could probably get top with only using the single shots on the Boltshot if they were good enough with it. --- -Why is there yogurt in this cap?! -It used to be milk, but, well, time makes fools of us all.
