The Metroid Prime series still might be one of the best FPS trilogies in my book. Halo is right behind it though and I've never played Mass Effect, but I understand that it is a great game as well.

Not the greatest video game of all time by a long shot (dozens if not more that are all way better than any of the Halo games) but True Achievements had Halo 4 as Game Of The Year with Borderlands 2 coming second (or the other way round, can't remember now)

Really? Mass Effect? Lulz See, I can do that too. Regarless, GTA4 was a better game then the entire ME series. Althought ME was a great game and I would rank it in my top 5. Did you happen to play GTA4? If so, was it for the story or just mindless fun? Story and gameplay wise, GTA4 is just incredible.
