I play Halo because I loved the series when Bungie was dev and now it's riding Bungie's wave of success so it still has some quality. Plus it has so much more variety than the competition on the market today. The story is amazing too.

Because it's one of the only good FPS' nowadays.
Cod was only fun in early MW2 era, after that it went way downhill.
Hopefully Bungie's new game Destiny can be as groundbreaking as Halo CE was for them.

I love the multiplayer.

Reach and 4 aren't my favorites in the series by a long shot but I still enjoy them.

At this point though I'd have to say 4 is my least favorite so far.

I play Halo because I enjoy the story and gameplay. I actually dug Reach on subsequent play-throughs, which seems to be a slightly unpopular opinion.
