Ever wanted to hear a full choir sing The Halo Theme Song a cappella?

Put together a concert recently of several of my original compositions and arrangements, and the closer was a fully a cappella arrangement of the original Halo Theme Song. Enjoy.

I liked it, nice job. Sounded like one girl was screaming her heart out at parts, I think it was the one in the black dress?

There definitely was more than one. This choir was a volunteer choir, so the talent level was all over the map. Several close friends / music majors / professional musicians, and then several sing-for-fun less trained people.

greatest journey from halo 3 is so epic. Halo 3 had such an awesome score. One of the best video game soundtracks IMO

Hah, at least you said the talent varied. good composition, maybe try replacing some of the "da's" for other syllables to cut out some monotony.

sorry for being a critic, i did like it.

That was cool. Is that just a church group? Listened to the other videos and you guys do a hell of a job. Mad props. At least if you suck at Halo, you can sing better than Sloppy and the bodybuilders....

I work at a church as a hired soloist/section leader, and the church allowed me to use the space for rehearsals and the concert. A few of the choir members are from the church choir, but the group is made up of people from all over--friends from high school and college, music majors, friends in the Los Angeles area, my a cappella group of classically trained singers, and even recruits from Craigslist ads!
