Halo 4

Regaurdless of your opinion of IGN.com and it's rating system two months later, do you feel Halo 4 deserved to become the highest rated FPS on Xbox 360?

When IGN gave Halo 4 a 9.8 it made the game the highest rated FPS game since Halo 2. Perfect Dark, Metroid Prime, and Halo 2 are the only FPS games to get scored this high on IGN.

Halo 4 didn't impress me the way Halo 3 and eventually Halo: Reach did. Halo 3 felt like the pinnacle of the series and Halo: Reach felt like a refinement of everything that had come before it. If you wanted to experience all Halo had to offer then play Halo: Reach. If you wanted the best of what it had to offer, Play Halo 3.

Halo 4 just didn't feel like the 9.8 that got me so excited. All the dramatic story elements and beautiful cut-scenes in the world can't make up for missing game features.

They haven't even fixed something as basic as File Share.

Hell no it doesn't deserve a 9.8.

Well someone will care. I have plenty of reason to take everything IGN says with a grain of salt.
In hind sight, Perfect Dark, Metroid Prime, and Halo 2 probably deserved such a high rating. Halo 4, It feels more like a 9.5.

I'm bored too buddy. That is why I made such a topic. Maybe that was the point of your post.

Halo 3 and Reach had me playing off and on well into the fallowing spring season before taking a long break. After Spartan Ops is over I won't have a reason to keep playing. There is no awesome armor that will keep me cheevo hunting and being content with the armor I have I think this game will have dropped to the lower 9.0's by the time the Halo 2 Remake or Halo 5 come along.

Halo 4 will always be the game that (hopefully) will be infamous for being to ambitious for it's own good. I think if it had come out on the Xbox 720 all the features it's missing would be present and fleshed out beyond expectation.

I am bored.
