Anyone else find single player in all halo games dull?

Just feels like a chore to me, same with most shooters

I enjoyed 3's and Reach's.

4's on the other hand feels really disjointed from the other's storywise and because of that it's hard to keep my interest. Gameplay wise I really didn't care much for the Prometheans. I'd usually play a level or two of campaign in Halo 3 just to warm up or start my day, 4's on the other hand I haven't revisited yet.

I can't speak for Halo: CE, but I know for a fact that the missions on Halo 2 were LOOOONG. And aside from a few moments, such as Arby's trial and rebirth AS Arby and the first time I'd ever seen a Scarab (thanks for dropping that ball, 343i), I can't really remember anything about that campaign, sans the fact that it had a larger variety of enemies than Halo 4.

Seriously 343i, these aren't difficult things to improve upon. The only things I remember about Halo 4 are that it introduced the Prometheans and the worst final boss battle of any shooter I've ever played (there wasn't one). Doom 2 had a better one and that was just a bad ass looking wall or John Romero's severed head if you count that, not sure which is considered canon in the Doom mythos.

Reach didn't really have a boss battle either. Just that hard ass part with the railgun

I've enjoyed every single campaign. I couldn't finish HALO Wars, however, because I'm terrible at RTS games.

From most to least enjoyable, imo, it goes:

CE
ODST
2/3(tie)
Reach/4(tie)

I'm not including Wars since I didn't finish it. I suppose I've enjoyed each new game's campaign less than the previous one but that's not saying much since CE's was an absolute blast to play-through repeatedly & with any number of restrictions(such as melee-only{BTW, F*** the Flood on CE on melee-only runs}). Despite that I almost listed them in order of release the amount I've enjoyed them is pretty close hence the ties between 2/3 & Reach/4.

The only Halo campaign I didn't really enjoy was Reach's. I loved the Halo 4 campaign and the CE campaign, and the Halo 2 and 3 campaign were good too. I also enjoyed the ODST campaign.

I feel that way. ESPECIALLY in this Halo.

No just this and ODST, the other ones were fine.
