The lack of team snipers or doubles doesn't make this game "not halo"

It's more of the fact that there are random power weapon spawns on the map and ordnance drops throws the concept of map control out of the window. Most players have to rely on perks and personal loadouts to win rather than starting off on equal grounds and using teamwork to win the game.

Teamwork is still essential in this game too, but you can easily go rambo style more so than previous halos to get killing sprees and such.

Also the way commendations, perks, and xp are worked out encourage "hardcore" play, in the sense that players now want to go into the game and get as much xp + commendations as possible. All the other halo games it was easy to goof off or relax. Now it feels like every game is life or death.

Just imo.

-You can outscore the enemy team by just getting assits
-The new point system
-Instant Respawns
-Kill Cams
-Loadouts
-Lack of competitive playlists
-Instant Respawns

Some of the things that make halo 4 not Halo.

What the hell game have you been playing?

Most of my games are a solid win by one team or the other.

People handicapping themselves in game to get commendations and playing for kills instead of wins makes the game hardcore?

Haters going to hate and trolls are going to troll.

Go to a site like Amazon.com and read reviews from people who played the game and actually took the time to write about it (As opposed to people who just come to a site and rate it a 1/10 because they hate FPS or just hate "space marines" for no reason other than they thought they were good at video games and got owned in a couple MP matches 10 years ago).

The praise is overwhelmingly positive.

The praise is overwhelmingly positive because they're all casuals who are probably already playing BLOPS2.

You mean most reviews written based off the single player or with very little MP playtime?

The disdain of people who actually understand the MP is much more telling than the praise of those who don't know better.
