Willster328Posted 1/18/2013 7:06:33 PM | Just recently started playing like this, and I've gotten an immense amount of assassinations of the past week. Not like it's drastic or anything, but definitelyy increases your chances:
1. Play Oddball. The natural attention of most members are on the ball, rather than on you. Easier way for them to get distracted and for you to get behind them.
2. Make sure you have the "Sprint" perk on. One of the hardest things about assassinations with the radar IMO is that there's a small window for you to run up on somebody and assassinate them. With the unlimited sprint, I find myself assassinating WAY more people since I can cross the map much quicker, and I can outrun them as well (the outrunning them part is most important)
3. Have Stealth from Wetwork as your other perk. I've noticed a couple times that even if I don't finish the animation of the assassination (if I get killed), it'll still give me the assassination anyways because of the speed of the perk. Definitely that extra that helps.
4. Have Camoflauge on also. When you're running in a group of enemies (especially with Oddball), even if you're not perfectly camoflauged, the fact that you screw up their radar and are at least semi-transluscent helps creating the chaos needed to get lots of assassinations.
That's really it. Other than that I keep plasma grenades on (for close-up sticking), and the Assault Rifle. This is going to primarily be an up-close-and personal class since you're going to want to be in close vicinity to assassinate them, so these up-close weapons will help you just get extra kills and tear it up.

zetsuhimozePosted 1/18/2013 8:10:50 PM | Tips for easier assassinations. Make sure that you are locked onto your target. Running up on your target will lower your score. Creative assassinations increase your kill score. If target smoke bombs work wonder.
