1. How does this affect me playing the game?

If Halo 4 continues to lose players at the rate it is, this game will be dead before Halo 5 even comes out.

2. Do other games with multiplayer not have a decline after the launch?

Is a 75% decline normal to you?

I sincerely doubt it will decline so far that I couldn't play a multiplayer game.

Based on what standard? Previous Halo games? Other FPS games?

AoE II had a huge decline in multiplayer, but it's still awesome to play it. So, why does that decline matter that much?

It might take 30 minutes at a time in the near future from the looks of it.

I suppose we'll just have to see.

I haven't played in over a month. Halo is dead to me.

I think I'm done with Halo 4 for a while. It's better than Reach, but it's still catering to casuals to attract the COD audience. The older games were better because everyone started out on equal footing and the games depended upon skill. Once you add in loadouts, perks, armor abilities, and other game mechanics that take away from the true Halo formula, it becomes less Halo and more Casual of Duty. Skill is thrown out the window and all noobs who suck at Halo can become gods with a few helpful perks and armor abilities.

Good players are still good and bad players are still bad. Maybe the gap isn't as large, but bad players don't suddenly become good and vice versa.

The frustrating thing is between two teams of similarly skilled players.

Even if the multiplayer dies I will still have friends that are always down for private matches, I still very much do enjoy this game.
