Is this games population steadily dropping?

Looking for a game i can play for a while and its between this and BO2,i don't really favor one over the other myself i just want something to occupy my time.Was thinking about this because i can find it cheap atm but all i keep hearing is negativity,as if the game is flawed or something.also keep hearing that the population is always on the decline.

So,is this true about the population?Don't want a game thats a ghost town within 6 months.

Yeah it's dropping a lot, but you'll still be able to find matches.

You will always easily be able to find a game, until Halo 5 comes out.

Balance the game and fix a huge amount of glitches

Nothing wrong with the game at all and besides, any game's online population declines in the months after release for a variety of reasons.

You still find a game easily though.

Why?

If people aren't playing the game now, they won't suddenly come back when 343i unleashes the smoke signals to announce the TU release.

I personally wouldn't have gone back to several games just for TU but I did because I'd bought season passes for them and wanted to make the most out of my purchases.
