Dude open your eyes the lighting effects and art style are phenominal not to mention animation and particle effects. Now instead of calling you a troll ill just say comparing a fps to a tps is dumb. Halo has always had BIG environments and beautiful back drops. So yes ya gotta sacrifice some power the bigger the play space DUH.

Graphics are "good" and undeniably the best in the franchise. Saying that they're the best this generation has to offer is debatable I think,. There have been a lot of pretty looking games out there this generation but they all have their own strength and weakness'. I remember everyone bragging about Battlefield 3's visuals and I thought they were rather mediocre even for console standards, I got REEMED for voicing that opinion after the game came out and I still don't think it's impressive at all.. Hell, I even though Bad Company 2 looked better. I don't know, In comparison to other first person shooters out there Halo 4 is close to the top, not sure if it matches the level of Crysis or FarCry but to say the visuals "suck" is a bit of a stretch.

lol, i mentioned the opening cutscene already; it's not the best pre-rendered cutscene ever made, and pre-rendered cutscenes don't even count anyway; the actual game doesn't look like that.
