need a new controller. wireless vs wired

seem both my controllers are experiencing a slow issue now. so out of curiosity is a wired black better than say getting a new wireless or no?

Apparently there is slightly faster response time for wired controllers. I also like it when you don't need to keep buying batteries for it.
