Any *EARLY* tips for a long time Halo player, first time Halo 4 player?

Use the Regen Field AA. That will make two of us.

And the AA recharge and Ammo mod. Since, like me, you also stay alive for hours at a time, it's nice not having to search for discarded weapons (DMRs). And when you do run dry, lure enemies into the green battle dome for a melee brawl.
