apparently throwing a pass in grifball is impossible for randoms.

Played for about an hour last night with all randoms, not one single pass was thrown unless by me. Several times I sat wide open on the score calling for the ball, watching enemies spawn and ignore me completely, only for the ball carrier to get killed.
I can't understand the logic in it really, that you would rather give the other team the ball at your own spawn than throw it to a wide open team mate for a score. /rant

To be fair, I wouldn't have known passing exists unless I accidentally hit the trigger or read gamefaqs.

Amount of people I've seen pass the ball in the game: 0.

Agreed. I only learned about passes when I accidently chucked the skull at an invisible enemy in oddball. Which actually helped, as he couldn't shoot me and his camo was forced off

I'll be on at six if you're sick of dealing with randoms.

I don't bother playing alone. It's no fun watching deafmutes teammates fumble around.

One cool tactic is throwing the ball at an incoming enemy, forcing him to be Grif, and swording him.

*gets all of the opponents to chase me as Grif*

*tosses ball to completely open team mates*

*team mates watch the ball land in front of them, then go after an opponent on the other side of the court*

*opponents score Grif*

When I play with randoms I just spawn kill. It's the only fun you can have with random Grifers... They're stupid (like 90% of the randoms you see in any objective game)
