Ever since Halo 2, I took pride in my KD ratio. Took pride to a point where I rather have a high KD than help my team win an objective game. For the first 2-3 days of playing Halo 4, I kept a comfortable +2.0 K/D with a 60% win rate in mostly Slayer. Yesterday I finished with 1.91 and today after trying to get that damn weekly done (30 wins) I slipped to a laughable 1.65. The weird thing was, I was having fun, especially in capture the flag.
Before, I used to just hang back and pick people off in CTF games, primarily playing defense and rarely (if ever) trying to get the flag. But after scoring some real dramatic flag captures, it was worth all the sacrifice. I even scored 3 flags in one game coast-to-coast! (I didn't catch what the announcer said) Anyway, of course I try not to be an idiot in Infinity Slayer and run around dying, but I think I'm definitely going to be much more aggressive on offense in capture the flag!

Your K/D may go down because you're going for the objective now, but I bet your win % goes up. That's more important anyway. Glad you had some fun! --- My friends call me "hadouken", because I'm a down right fierce. GT: Lt KGB
Kd don't matter dawg. It would be a better game if they didn't show it.
I really wish game didn't show it. Then people would judge how good you are based on when they actually play you. --- PSN: Co1onel-225 https://www.youtube.com/user/TheCoIonel - http://i.minus.com/iVXYeO2wiU3WC.gif
I think K/D from objective games shouldn't be computed into overall stats. My ratio is ruined because Oddball is so much fun to play in this game. Not too concerned about it because my wins are up. --- Insert signature here. GT = Nasty Ronco
