Gary Numan and the band Collide also have songs called "halo" that are pretty decent.
I hadn't heard of Machine Head (outside of the Deep Purple album) so I listened to it. It was ok. Is this that "emo" music I've heard so much about? (serious question)
if this was what you listened to i dont understand how you could classify them as "emo" unless you lump anything with heavy guitar into the same genre as awful whiny scream vocals. --- You can't spam on host with the DMR ~Fhos

That's what I listened to, yeah. I don't mean any insult. I just don't know these genres that keep getting tossed around. Maybe I meant 'screamo'? it's just the kind of whiny-sounding chorus with the heavier guitars that made me think it might be.
And I have no problem with heavy guitars... trust me :) --- The Reclamation is resting >_>
there's no whining vocals in the song i posted bro
dat solo :s
i hate to throw around terms like "best xxxxxx of all time" but if i had to make a top 5 list of greatest albums of music of any genre of all time, the blackening would be on it. a truly, legitimately phenomenal album. --- You can't spam on host with the DMR ~Fhos
She's attractive, but she's not a specifically hot woman. The only reason people are talking about her right now (or specifically, why we are talking about her) is because they chose her as this year's horrible halftime performer for the Superbowl.
