It's not exactly like CoD. But 343 added a lot of CoD features into this game (killstreaks, loadouts, instant respawn, perks, spec ops, etc) in order to appeal to a broader fanbase.

I saw it as soon as I saw the experience counter pop up for kills/assists/etc.

Honestly, all other questionable additions aside, let's focus on what makes this a pitiful attempt at a decent Halo title. It's all about the maps and this game failed at crafting good ones. Hell 343 realized how bad the maps were and put our forge maps up for trial to find permanent ones! If you don't see this as a Halo player then you don't deserve to speak on this board. This game was rushed out and I feel jiped as being a dedicated Halo fan after buying this game.

Xbox Kinect. Works better as a MoCap tool for amateur animators than it does as a gaming gimmick.
