I would "care" about them, but I often end up having to kill them so they stop driving my warthogs straight into the enemy wraiths/banshees/army. If they did more good than harm, I'd probably try to protect them. --- In the modern world, "common sense" is an oxymoron.
Other: I use them as meatshields until the heavy weapons only have one shot left, then I hand them to the AI. --- Is there something about the way I type that makes it sound angry? Maybe it's just something about the way you read.
This is true i think they have infinite health though not sure on that but it looked like it at times.
Nah. They've got super powerful health/shields and are effected by Tilt just like everything else, but they'll die under concentrated fire. Eventually. For that, I will save them from the things that can kill them every time I can. The regular troops have been on their own ever since I got the achievement for making sure they survive that one mission. --- Those who criticize our generation forget who raised it.
