I'm curious as to whether or not it is any fun. My marching band is going on a trip to Disney World over spring break and we will have the nights in the hotel, so myself and the 3 others staying in my room want to bring some games. Is Halo 4 fun for local play? Is Halo 3 any better somehow? Are there any cool things you can do that are designed for split screen?

3 and Reach both have more custom games options than 4, so they would be better choices for four player local play, since customs is the only mode that supports it. --- Perfection. Where everyone fails. If you expect nothing you can be happy for everything.

Split screen lags hardcore for me on this game, borderline unplayable at times. --- GT: LAWL SULLI

I've played 4-player split screen on Halo 4. It's not bad; I mean sharing a TV with four people gets old, but the game still plays well.

The FPS will drop to a constant 20, often dipping into the 10s. Halo 4 has splitscreen. Working splitscreen it does not. --- http://www.youtube.com/user/TheCptDecaf
