At least once again they know they need to improve. Does anyone know if they're going to do another one but this time completely talk about the multiplayer?

Ok I guess I'm the only one that noticed he didn't put a link:

http://uk.gamespot.com/shows/gamespot-live/?event=halo-reborn-gdc-postmortem-20130329

According to some guy on Waypoint:

"Historically, we've had these twod audiences in Halo.... Campaign and Multiplayer..... We wanted to bind them"

"We wanted to create an experience where Campaign players could do well in Multiplayer, and introduce Multiplayer players into Campaign".

"We wanted to help new players find success, help them get power weapons in ordnance that they might never have gotten a hold of before"

"We want to make Halo more accessible and easier to succeed at"

"Halo always had a steep learning curve that threw players off, we wanted to change that"

"We listened to all the community feedback, and realised that players didn't want an even playing field and put a progression system in, which is what they wanted" - U WOT M8?(p)

RIP Halo I cry evertiem

I'm sorry but I think it's a good and fair thing that players who's not that good at the game can get a chance to beat good players otherwise the newer players would stop playing.

No one ever had a problem with the other games being "too hard". Halo 2 for example had a "steep" learning curve as far as console shooters go, but it was also perfectly playable and fun for the average person who doesn't even play games. If 343 has to choose between:

"People who are bad and don't want to get better and want things handed to them"

Or

"People who aren't bad and have supported the series for years"

They should pick the latter but of course they won't because there are more casuals than good players.

Casuals don't count as a bad player and it's a pretty unfair thing to say. Obviously you must be good at the game but the reality is that someone isn't. 343i wanted to make the people who aren't good enjoy the game too along with the people already good. These newer people will become the next veterans of the series. Constant complaining won't fix anything.
