... that martyrdom, that godawful perk and deathstreak from the COD series, is hardcoded into the game, but dropping the flag in CTF isn't.

I need to stop making these threads, I know. But I find this trainwreck of bad decisions and poor management on 343's behalf too fascinating not to.

Since the players in that short clip in the link started with grenades(or at least had grenades when they died) it could be entirely possible that the person killed could've thrown a 'nade as they were killed & the person who killed them shot the 'nade mid-air. It's a long-shot, I know, but it is slightly possible. Now, if the person did NOT have any 'nades upon death it would be easier to tell if it was a Martyrdom-like thing or not.
