Worth it, or will I have buyers remorse at $40?

I always enjoyed Halo, I like the lore and such and Chief/Cortana. I would probably play all aspects of the game, campaign, spartan ops and probably mainly team slayer big team slayer.

Yes you will as long as you dont expect multiplayer to be the same as past halos. You'll love the campaign.

I just saw this game for $24 at newegg on dealnews yesterday, but looks like it is expired. Maybe you could try to work a deal with them to honor that sale... idk, worth a shot.

I love this game


But spartan ops can be simulated by lying on a sofa with your head off the ledge so your blood flows to your head, then slap yourself.

Chapter 7 was cool though
