Considering picking up a Halo as a way of restoring fizzling interest in my 360 (Played 1 through Reach; didn't ever beat 1 properly) and I was wondering which of the two has the better campaign (specifically co-op campaign) and multiplayer.
So yeah, simple question, which will give me the better experience for my money? Both are sold used at a reliable secondhand shop for about the same price so money isn't an object, and I'll eventually get the other one later on down the line.
Thanks for any help. --- If you die around here, you'll burn so hard there won't even be ashes left. If I want your corpse, I'd better take ya down here!

this --- I only play good games.

This. There is nobody left playing CE/Reach multi so it would be redundant to buy, even IF you liked Reach better than 4. --- One of these days, Valve will confirm Half-Life 3, but nobody will believe them and assume its another ruse.

CE has the better campaign but there's no multi. 4 has an okay campaign and okay multiplayer.

CEA multiplayer is not very popular (300-400 people on usually) but you can find games. I like the CEA campaign better too --- XBL: Rimshot 415

halo is fading slowly but surely. If top xbox exclusives is what you want this franchise isnt that big as it once was
Imo with the required dlc to play certain modes, id say pass on halo 4
go with Call of duty ghost or gta v, both better for the future interest you might have not to mention a bigger/better community
