How would you feel about a Mario game that uses the Balance Board?

Would that be a good idea? Walk in place to run, extend your knees to jump, etc.

It could work, but not as a direct sequel. It would have to play very differently to make sense and feel right.

My knees are already bad from a sports injury =/

That is to say, keeping my knees slightly bent (so the game can frequently discern the jump motion) tends to be irritating on some days and outright painful on others.
