I went to Bramball Woods being mini thinking the mini pipe was some kind of secret just to find out it is only there for an easier time reaching the top of the flag pole. The game is trolling me now.

This happens way too much in New Super Mario Bros. games. You think you found a swell secret, only to find it out its filled with coins and a 1-up Mushroom.

Hate to say that's exactly why I just looked up the secret exits.

Some of them were things I would have gone after in older Mario games, but in this one I have so many items and lives that I can't be bothered when there's a 95% chance it's just a cache of coins or better access to the flag pole. At least in older games there were indicators of which stages had multiple exits.
