XinSonPosted 3/18/2013 8:25:07 PM | For me at least, boss difficulty peaked at New Super Mario Bros. Wii and has just been going down hill since. Ludwig's fight from that game could range from super hard (co-op) or just bad luck) to easy (with good luck).
however in NSMB2 and NSMBU it's just so.... easy. I was expecting easy from the first few worlds, but the later worlds boss fights are just pathetic. I think the hardest boss fight in U is actually Morton if you're unable to do the cheap "jump lock" trick.
I will say I am pleased with the platforming. It has been a decent challenge on a few levels to get all the starcoins. --- http://i40.tinypic.com/2hgh84l.jpg |

FunkyKong84Posted 3/19/2013 3:49:37 PM | ^SMW castles were tougher. So getting to the boss was a challenge in the first place.
SMB3 bosses were tougher. Their physics were better, as they would knock you off everytime you bounced on their shell and that would make you vulnerable to their next attack. Needless to say SMB3 airships were challenging, as they required precise platforming.
And probably you're just getting better at this game, I don't think that the NSMBU bosses were any easier than the NSMBW ones. --- MKW rooms: 5414-1751-1872, bikes: 2321-8230-2740 karts: 2193-9930-0913, 3DS: 1762-2720-2528 |

TowdPosted 3/20/2013 4:25:25 PM | To me, there's no real pattern as to which games have harder and more easy Bosses and Boss Levels. On all games, SMW, SMB3, NSMB series etc, some are easy, some are hard, some are somewhere in between.
In general though, the bosses on NSMB2 are ridiculously easy. |
McmadnessV3Posted 3/20/2013 6:37:48 PM | In my opinion the only 2D Mario boss thats really worth a crap is Wario in super mario land 2.

Well I was talking more of the conventional Mario games so I ignored yoshi's island. SMB3 Bowser is terrible, one of the worst Bowser battles. And Super Mario world is just ok. --- Thank you for taking the time to read this sig. This sig loves you. |
