CD-i references in canon Zelda games.

Has anyone noticed any references to the Cd-i Zelda games in any of the real Nintendo Zelda games?

All I can think of from the top of my head is

the Composer bros ghosts in OOT. (well the dialogue they say when you kill them)

And the fortune teller in SS looks identical to Morshu the shop keep. cept he has a baby man body.

lastly, this is more of a stretch but the mirror shield in MM has a pic of a creepy spooky face on it. Therefore it's evil - a face of evil.

But... none of those are references to the CD-i Zelda games.

No, but I have noticed references to CD-i Zelda games in Sonic games.

Okay, so that isn't a real reference either.

I really want to see this actually happen. Why can't they have some NPC say "I'm so hungry I could eat an Octorok", that would just be hilarious

Not changing this sig until we get a new main series Tales game released on a Nintendo console in the US

Uhm, no they don't... Would you like to prove that statement? You're incorrect.

That's pretty close but not close enough to be a reference (intended, unintended, influenced or otherwise)

I figured that's what you were referring to, which is why you are factually wrong. That is nothing like the CD-i scene.

CD-i : "You've killed me!" *melts into blue puddle and a heart appears*

OoT : *dies, turns into a flame with a see-through part resembling a happy face, says nothing until you touch it* "GYAAAH! YOU KILLED ME!! Huh? Oh, it's you." *continues talking, disappears eventually*

They aren't even remotely similar. "You've killed me!" and "YOU KILLED ME!!" aren't the same in any way. The former is clearly "YOU'VE", while the latter is "YOU". It's not a reference, and you aren't correct. There is no reason for this topic to continue, you clearly don't know what a reference is. You are incapable of noting any similarities between those two scenes besides "KILLED ME" in the script, and you certainly aren't capable of explaining and proving why the other "references" in your original post are actually references and not just vague similarities that can be explained by simple logic.

Seriously, the MM Mirror Shield having a face on it makes it a FACE OF EVIL? The only face I've got right now is a facepalm.

Woah man, no need to analyze it. Everyone that cares can watch both videos and for their own opinion.
