This is the 21st Century for God's sake, what is with all this monarchist propaganda!? But first there should be elections to see who will be the President, but we need candidates first.

The King decrees that elections are invalid and we're after all in ****ing Hyrule. Aren't they dying from black death or something?

Ganondorf as a candidate and this dude who is from Links home is a candidate. Ganondorf secretly kills the the other one and becomes the president of the Hyrule.

Or Ganondorf can be a Prime Minister and the other leader is a President. Ganondorf overthrows the President and becomes a mass dictator over Hyrule. Similer to the rise of Hitler in Germany.

We don't recognize titles of nobility in the Republic of Hyrule, sooorry
