Would this help or hurt the zelda franchise? and what if ganondorf pulled a gun at the start of the match?

i just don't see these 2 things match. Beauty of bushido blade is one-shotting your opponent. I don't see zelda benefitting from that feature. I think Souls gameplay would be better. (no need for that difficulty though, zelda shouldn't be super hardcore)

Zelda games aren't about combat and as such the simple combat mechanics they have in place suffice. What they should work on more is giving the monsters a better more dynamic AI.
