OoT was good, but has been topped over and over.

As for innovation, you can't beat going from 2d to 3d, so that's the only thing OoT wins.

After that, opinion aside, each one has gotten better. That doesn't mean the die-hard fangirls can't still like OoT the best, it just means apples to apples, they've progressed.

So if you're a dunce, the point of this post is for the idiots to quit whining about a series they should be praising.

Actually, the only real "innovation" OoT introduced was the targeting system. The 3D aspect has already been around for years on PC.

But your argument is still valid, OoT is being paraded as the thing to beat, even now when it is a decade past relevance.

I agree. OoT stopped being the best Zelda game a while ago

Yes, OoT was good for its time, and set the standard for later Zeldas, and the entire Action Adventure genre.

However, it hasn't aged well, and the games that followed it surpassed it in every way.

You could say the same about MM, and yet for some reason nobody does.

MM still has the three-day mechanic and masks to make it unique.

It hasn't aged as badly as OoT.

Neither OoT nor MM have aged badly, they're both still quite playable.
